Topic: Accessing Prior Year Returns
You may Access Prior Year Returns created using the TaxACT Online program using the Data Archive Service (DAS). The DAS service, for which there is a $12.95 fee, stores your return until May 1st of the third year following the filing deadline of your return. For example, 2008 returns will be available until 5/1/2012, 2007 returns until 5/1/2011, and so on.

NOTE:
TaxACT does not provide archived copies of returns filed through the TaxACT Desktop or TaxACT Preparer's programs. If you no longer have access to the return file to print, you can receive a copy of a successfully filed return from the IRS by calling 800-829-1040.
